Life of a 5 yr old pretending to be older is to much for me. I like to think of my mini-little will always be the cute little baby. I am so not looking forward to the real makeup days, dating, brake ups and good lord puberty. If I live or if she lives to make it there better have a padded room ready

Night of a Mommy Melt Down

Oh yes tonight was the night. Who hasn't had a night where things are going great with your 5yr old and the then BAM reality slapped you in the face. My lovley mini-little started with "My belly hurts, I don't want anymore dinner".  So as any mean mother would do, I sat her butt back down at the chair and explained the reasons why she needed to eat. 
After finally finishing dinner it was late so bath and bed time. Well bath went smoothly until I mentioned the dreadful B.E.D word. You would think I took her world from her. Bed here we come.... First bed melt down of the night was all over. 
I had enough I finally broke down crying in the kitchen. My son walks up w the biggest hug amd made things seem so much better.
Wonder if they ever made a handbook for these Children of the corns. Yes that is what I call them.
